Ms. Ntlai Eunice Masipa is a distinguished South African attorney, legal entrepreneur, and leader in the legal profession. She is the founder and director of Masipa Attorneys, a law firm based in Pretoria, Gauteng, and has built a strong reputation in litigation, legal advisory services, and professional leadership. She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2015 after completing her 

articles of clerkship and holds an LLB degree from the University of Limpopo.

After her admission, Ms. Masipa gained valuable experience as a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant at LabourNet and later as a Senior Legal Advisor at Lipco Law for All before establishing Masipa Attorneys in 2017. Her practice focuses primarily on Road Accident Fund 

(RAF) claims, labour and employment law, family law, civil litigation, and general legal advisory services. She has consistently advocated for access to justice and the protection of the rights of vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.

Ms. Masipa has played a significant leadership role within the National Association of 

Democratic Lawyers (NADEL). She has served on the organisation’s National Executive Committee, including as National Projects and Campaign Coordinator and later as Deputy Treasurer, contributing to programmes aimed at transforming the legal profession, promoting constitutional democracy, and mentoring young legal practitioners. She currently serves as the National Treasurer of NADEL.

Her contribution to the broader legal profession extends to the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA). She served as a member of the House of Constituents and, in 2022, was elected Vice-President of the Law Society of South Africa, becoming part of the organisation’s historic first all-female Presidents’ Committee. In this role, she served on the LSSA Human Resources Committee and contributed to national policy discussions affecting attorneys across South Africa.

Beyond private practice, Ms. Masipa has served on the Board of the Legal Provident Fund and as a Board Member of Knobel Hospital, demonstrating her commitment to governance, public service, and institutional development. She is widely recognised as an advocate for ethical legal practice, social justice, equality, and African leadership, and has encouraged young legal practitioners to pursue excellence through discipline, consistency, and lifelong learning.

Throughout her career, Ms. Masipa has exemplified professional excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to constitutional values. Her work within private practice, professional organisations, and public institutions continues to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of South Africa’s legal profession and the advancement of access to justice for all.
